Guide Foundation, in partnership with Lampco Federal Credit Union, is committed to increasing financial education, literacy, and access in the community. Lampco’s own Thomas E Shaffer III, Controller, Lampco Federal Credit Union, is the Managing Director of Indiana Project dedicating his time and passion to educate and inspire the next generation of finance leaders.
Mission Statement – The Indiana Project (TIP) mission is to Cultivate Future Wall Street Leaders by preparing high-potential students — particularly from underserved backgrounds and communities — to enter the financial services industry through 1) credential attainment (Securities Industry Essentials [SIE] Exam), 2) mentorship relationships (Executives, Founders, and Senior Level Positions), and 3) direct exposure (real-time client experiences). Our vision is to close education gaps, increase literacy, and create opportunities to produce career-ready professionals who elevate their families and communities.
